Joseph Emma
702nd Tank Battalion, 80th Infantry Division
|
Former T/4 Joe Emma writes: "Many times during combat I would be called to repair or change channels on radios and transmitters or go through mine fields to salvage radio equipment from knocked out tanks. Like most of my buddies, I was frightened by combat, artillery shells, booby-traps, screaming meemies and land mines. I was cold and without hot food for many days." |
