L-R; Dr. Pierre Peiffer & Jack Manning:  The last time these men's paths crossed, Pierre was a but a small French boy trying to survive and Jack was a Red Devil tanker fighting "tooth & nail" against the German Army in the Moselle River area and also trying to survive.  Back then; they never met face to face, yet they shared the same Hell.  That shared suffering gives them much in common, and I suspect their friendship will last for the remainder of their lives!  God works in strange and wonderful ways.  I consider it an honor to call both men "Friend", and pray they will enjoy many peaceful, healthy and happy years to come!
