Maj. Robert "Bob" Rawls

 305th Engineer Battalion

80th Infantry Division

When former Major Robert "Bob" Rawls, 305th Engineer Battalion died, his war-time photo collection was sold at auction.  Thanks to the generosity and kindness of Joel Parkinson, Nephew of S/Sgt. Thomas Parkinson, 319th Regt., we have the following wonderful photos from Maj. Rawls collection.

Three original company commanders in the 305th Combat Engineers Battalion taken in Metz, France in October, 1944.  Left to right are Captain J. C. Zeit (Company A), Captain A. F. Worman (Company C); Captain R. C. Marshall (Company B).  Not sure if the spellings are right for the last two.
