A French citizen is searching for anyone who may know anything about Ash Richards, of the 3rd Battalion, 319th Infantry Regiment. Ash passed away in 1995 and had two brothers, one named Art who was in an armored division but I don't have any information on the second brother. He began his service career July 3, 1942 and was discharged Dec 26 1945. He completed basic training at Ft. George Meade, in Maryland. He was certainly in Nancy, France on October 6, 1944. This person has a pair of leggings, which were found in Morville les Vics, near Nancy. If anyone knew this man or can provide any information on him, please contact the Webmaster, and I will pass it along to the person seeking it. Thank you! |
