Patton's Troubleshooters Today

Because of Ken Pugh's tireless efforts on behalf of veterans everywhere, as well as his efforts to help educate the public about Patton's Troubleshooters (the men of the 80th Infantry Division, and it's attached units such as the 702nd Tank Battalion Red Devils, etc.), I nominated him for Honorary Membership in the 702nd Tank Battalion Red Devils Association.  As an Honorary Member myself, I don't have voting rights in the association, that privilege is only given to the World War Two Veterans themselves.  I put my proposal to Pete Porreca, President of the Red Devils Association, and at the 2008 Annual Reunion, Pete took the nomination to a vote of the members.  I am very happy to say that by a unanimous vote of the veterans, Mr. Ken Pugh was officially named as an Honorary Member of the 702nd Tank Battalion Red Devils Association!  I wish to take this opportunity to welcome the newest Red Devil publicly, and to again thank him for his hard work and great personal expense in his effort to help teach younger generations about the brave young men who helped save the world from fascism over sixty years ago.  Ken has graciously agreed to share photos of his fleet of WW2 military vehicles, which he restores and uses as teaching aids so that younger generations will get a sense of what our forefathers did in securing freedom and liberty for us all.  Ken plans to configure most of his vehicles to represent those of the 80th Division, the 702nd Tank Battalion, the 305th Engineer Battalion, the 633rd Anti-Aircraft-Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion and others as he is able.  An enormous amount of hard physical labor, and a tremendous amount of expense goes into what Ken does.  Ken is not seeking personal profit or glory from his work, but simply trying to help pay a debt that we all owe those brave young men who fought in World War Two.  He is to be commended for his efforts and good heart for his public service.  I consider it a great honor to count him as a friend, and now as a fellow Red Devil!  Thank you Ken!

When Ken first gets a vehicle, it may look much like this before restoration.
