During the last weekend of June, 2010, Ken Pugh and his crew assembled his fleet to attend the Armed Forces Day event at Leeds, England. Ken stole the show with his 80th Division Patton's Troubleshooters vehicles! Ken's fleet was front & center in front of the magnificent old Leeds Town Hall built in the early 1800's. On his way to the event, Ken and Crew stopped off at a local school to give the students a chance to get a first-hand look at what real World War Two US Military vehicles would have looked like, and felt like to sit or crawl around in. It is by allowing younger generations to see history first-hand, that you can instill in them an important respect and interest in our history. Needless to say, Ken's vehicles were a huge hit with the students! Ken was kind enough to share his photos of the Armed Forces Day event, so without further ado, I present you with the following: |
